I have brought together information under the Lwalks.London banner to help anyone to enjoy walking in London and beyond. I support the London National Park City designation, and hope that Lwalks.London will be a useful contribution to the aims and objectives behind the project.
Urban walking should link the built and the natural environments, and should celebrate each. My own urban walks have this aim running through them.
Each of the routes which is given a page of its own will fall into one of three categories: walks completed by me, walks which have been part-traversed by me, and walks being worked out by me, but not yet completely designed. In certain cases, I may need to give over a page to refer readers to information about a route which has not (yet) been visited by me, to give context.
