River Avon Heritage Trail (Lothian)

A 13km walk following the River Avon between Avonbridge and Linlithgow Bridge.

There are bus connections with Falkirk at each endpoint, and Linlithgow station is not far from the downstream endpoint.

Observations

There are many instances of “River Avon” (essentially a tautology) around the country. This River Avon forms the boundary between Falkirk and West Lothian council areas.
