Cross Britain Way
A 449km walk between Boston and Barmouth.
Public transport is scarce in some areas, with point-to-point distances of over 30km in places.
Observations
Walkers should note that this route has, as a result of being taken into the Macmillan Ways stable, lost a lot of fieldpath walking in favour of hard surfaces nearby. The changes appear to have been made to optimise the route for charity walkers and their car-borne support.
