There are bus connections on or near the route at Ammanford, Pontlliw, Gorseinon, Gowerton, Three Crosses, Llanrhidian (within 2km of Prysg), Cillibion, Penmaen, Reynoldstown, Knelston and Rhossili There are rail connections at Ammanford and Gowerton.

Observations
Walking from Rhossili to Penlle’r Castell involves 1075m of ascent (300m more than the southerly option) … an the likelihood that you will need to walk into Ammanford because you may be unable to call for a taxi.
The walk from Ammanford station to Penlle’r Castell climbs more than 300m and takes the total distance to Pontlliw over the 20km mark. The start from Penlle’r Castell is over rough ground, so it will be a slow start. The taxi option is recommended.
