Heart of England Way

The Heart of England Way is a 166km walk which cuts through the West Midlands (passing between Birmingham and Coventry). Its endpoints are Milford, on the north rim of Cannock Chase, and Bourton on the Water.
The Heart of England Way Association keeps a website, but has no dedicated information about public transport. There is adequate coverage along the length of the route, though it is sparser in the south.
A guidebook is available, which contains very basic public transport details. Note, though, that the book contains numerous errors which have not been resolved following the proofreading process, and that the maps are not the easiest to read.
