A 474km walk between Boston and Chesil Beach at Abbotsbury.
Public transport connections (60 locations) are available at key staging points throughout. The question of multi-day base stations is rather tricky — Oakham, Northampton, Stow-on-the-Wold, Bath and Sherborne are possibilities.
Observations
Walkers should be aware that this route was created explicitly for the harvesting of donations to a charity via sponsorship of walkers. This may have resulted in suboptimal routing for walkers, in order to optimise for car-borne support, and there is always a possibility of a large-group event on the route to spoil the peace of the walk.
