Midshires Way

Midshires Way

The Midshires Way is a 361km walk between Princes Risborough (for walk-in to the “official” southern terminus at Bledlow) and Stockport. It is marked on Ordnance Survey maps. This is a challenging walk to achieve using only public transport connections, with several gaps of over 20km between bus stops.

Observations

A guidebook was published in 2003, but is now barely visible, and only second-hand, it seems (it does not appear on the publisher’s website listings).

Derbyshire County Council issued a set of three leaflets to cover the section within that county, but these are of unknown age. They are
