Llwybr Hafren / Severn Way

A 338km walk between the river’s source on Pumlumon Fawr and the upper boundary of the Bristol Channel at Severn Beach.

The walk may be completed using public transport connections. Shrewsbury, Worcester and Gloucester may serve as base stations.

Observations

Walkers should note that the circuit from Llanidloes to the source and back, at 38km, may be testing for some walkers, for whom a taxi-drop/collect at Rhyd-y-benwch, the nearest car park to the source, may help.
