A 77km walk following the River Test between Inkpen Beacon and the Solent.

Public transport connections are good in the southern part of its route. Andover and Southampton are the best base stations.

Observations

Walkers should note that the northern terminus is most easily served from Newbury, with a walk-in of 2km and 120m ascent from the nearest bus stop (Rolf’s Farm, Upper Green).
