Wye Valley Walk

Llwybr Dyffryn Gwy
Wye Valley Walk

A 223km walk between Rhyd-y-benwch, near the source of the river, and Chepstow, where it empties into the Severn.

Public transport connections (32 locations) are available at key staging points.

Observations

Walkers should note that there is either a there-and-back from Llangurig (20km each way) or a 13km walk-in/out from/to Llanidloes from the upper end, the latter making a 33km day between Llanidloes and Llangurig. A private arrangement to reach or return from Rhyd-y-benwch may be the answer if the above distances seem beyond capabilities.
