Get out of London! South-west to Guildford

This route starts by going through St James’s Park to Victoria, and on via Battersea Park to Clapham Common. It crosses the River Wandle at Earlsfield, then reaches Old Malden by way of Wimbledon Common. The Hogsmill and Bonesgate valleys are followed up to Ashtead Common, and the route crosses the M25 to Leatherhead before continuing via Horsley and Clandon to Guildford station, where the North Downs Way is a short step along the Wey South Path from the station. The distance is something over 60km, with just over 500m ascent.
