Get out of London! West to Maidenhead

To the west, it is clear that we could borrow the Thames Path all the way to Maidenhead. However, there are little gems to be found away from the river too, as this route, one of the radial Get out of London! routes, shows. Hyde Park, the Grand Union Canal, and Burnham Beeches may take the popular palm, but Gunnersbury Park and Langley Park have their own merits, and there is urban interest in the different architectures. The total distance is a little over 60km, with just under 240m ascent. Public transport connections are available throughout, and the route is accessible from anywhere within the Greater London conurbation.
