This walk, between adjacent stations on the main line to Milton Keynes, alternates between the canal and the hills around Heath and Reach (is that a village or a comedy duo?) before taking the shortest distance from the canal to Bletchley, where there is plenty to cause delay to your departure — Bletchley Park and the National Museum of Computing, of course, but do not ignore a varied little shopping area on the east side of the railway. Note that Leighton Buzzard station is actually in Linslade.
