Gently down the Deben valley, with the only roadwork in the villages of Ufford and Bromeswell, until you reach Melton. Thereafter, the riverside path becomes a bit more hemmed in by the townscape. Woodbridge, with its tidal mill and a good range of shops, will provide refreshment and distraction before the journey home.
