Description
This walk is a circuit taking in both sides of the River Brain to the south-east of Braintree. Cressing Temple (as in “Knights Templar”) is visited after a short stretch of riverside walking. After crossing the Essex Way, the route takes a bend at Tye Green to drop into the valley at Bulford Mill, then rises again through Black Notley, before reaching White Notley: there is a final rise to the station.
