The Metropolitan Line is a line with four branches, all in the west. In addition to the spinal line between Uxbridge and Aldgate, there are three branches with termini at Amersham, Chesham and Watford. The Chesham and Watford branches are incorporated into the route from Amersham, which joins the walking route from Uxbridge at West Harrow station.
