The Marskramerpad (Peddler’s Path) takes an old trading route from Bad Bentheim, just over the border in Germany, to Scheveningen, via Oldenzaal, Deventer, Amersfoort and Leiden.

The guide-book (in Dutch) is published by Wandelplatform-LAW (ISBN 9789071068935): it is the best source of maps and route information. The path’s website allows you to select sections to view (along with variations since the publication of the latest edition of the book).
