The route and its notes have been overhauled to take account of changes. There are now 23 sections of 10-18km each, down from 59.

The summer was consumed by wholesale revisions to content of the major routes, bringing them under a single convention.

London Summits Walk, Capital C, and Hammersmith Bridge

Hammersmith Bridge is now completely closed: this includes the riverside paths beneath the bridge. The 133-year-old structure is showing cracks in its cast iron, and these cracks have widened in recent weeks.
